How the daily works
Every day at midnight UTC the challenge changes to a different game, drawn from15 logic puzzles. The board is derived from the date rather than handed out by a server, which is why it is identical everywhere and why it still works with no connection at all in the apps.
It is always the hard setting. There is one board a day and no way to re-deal it, so a streak means you turned up and finished, not that you shopped for a board you liked.
